Kathy draws on her extensive sales and marketing background when representing Desert Mountain buyers and sellers. Her successful background encompasses serving as a Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Corporate Officer for manufacturer Weatherby Inc. in Los Angeles. She also had 18 years of financial and marketing experience with the Winchester division of Olin Corporation. She has been an active Realtor within Desert Mountain and other private Golf Clubs in North Scottsdale since 2004.
Kathy holds a degree in Business Administration/Accounting Specialization from Southern Illinois University and postgraduate certification from Penn State. She is an avid golfer, songstress, markswoman, and sports car enthusiast. She has been involved with several charitable groups, including Habitat for Humanity, Creative Women of Pinnacle Peak, Childhelp USA, and Cancer Awareness Through Research and Education (C.A.R.E). She has also served on member-at-large committee’s at DM over the years.
Kathy and her husband, Hugh, reside and have been active members of the Desert Mountain community since 1993 and have six children and twelve grandchildren. They form the Reed & Vandi Team at Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty at Desert Mountain and work at the Desert Mountain main gate office.
